What is water skiing?
Water skiing is a unique activity, accessible to everyone, from 8 to 90 years old. Created in 2012 on the lake of the Les Ô Kiri leisure center in Baudreix, this water skiing uses a circular cable to pull skiers. This electric mechanism is both ecological and silent, because there is no boat. It allows up to eight skiers to move simultaneously, ensuring a smooth and safe experience.
The Ô Kiri water ski lift is a five-pulley model with a left-hand start (regular) and six modules. You will find:
- Three springboards
- A funbox aframe
- A dancefloor
- A streetseries unit (26 meters)
- An uprail wall
This activity is perfect for thrill seekers and beginners. The water ski lift is open from April to the end of October. It is possible to book for groups of 10 people or more. Changing rooms, toilets and showers and a shaded terrace with stands are available on site to enjoy the show.
Water ski lift activities
The Ô Kiri water ski lift, located in Baudreix near Pau, Nay and Lourdes, offers various activities suitable for all levels:
Wakeboard : Slide on the water with a board on your feet, similar to snowboarding.
Wakeskate : Use a board without bindings, perfect for skateboard enthusiasts.
Water skiing : Ski on water with two skis on your feet and bindings, for an experience similar to alpine skiing.
Kneeboard for beginners : Use a knee board, ideal for beginners and accessible from 8 years old.
We also offer sessions dedicated to children from 8 to 12 years old, by reservation. For €20/hour, equipment included, children can discover this activity in complete safety, towed at an appropriate speed. They benefit from the supervision and advice of qualified instructors. It is essential to be able to swim at least 25 meters.

The management reserves the right to change the schedules depending on the weather. These rates include equipment rental: vest, mandatory helmet, wakeboard, bi ski, kneeboard. You can rent advanced equipment and wetsuits. Your personal equipment is mandatory for cards and subscriptions. To practice this activity we ask you to be able to swim at least 25m.
