Safety conditions

Basic rules for getting the most out of your installation

Cable skiing is an activity that involves risks, listen to and follow the instructions given, do not attempt tricks that you do not master.

 

  1. The activity is not recommended if you have muscular or other disorders, prohibited for people under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
  2. It is prohibited to use any sound sources that could disturb the peace of users.
  3. Smoking is prohibited in the departure area but tolerated in the surrounding area (subject to throwing cigarette butts in the ashtrays provided for this purpose), the use of combustion devices (for example, barbecue) is subject to prior agreement from management and remains exceptional.
  4. The use of glasses is prohibited throughout the park.
  5. Consumption of strong alcohol is prohibited.

Article 1

To practice the water skiing activity on cable, you must:

  1. Be able to swim, be at least 8 years old and be accompanied by an adult.
  2. From 8 years old to less than 14 years old, a parental release will be requested if there is no accompanying adult.
  3. Wearing a life jacket and helmet is mandatory.
  4. You must have paid the entry fee and present an untorn, uncrossed-out wristband or present your season pass.

Article 2

For the start and on the circuit, you must:

  1. Respect the queue, present your bracelet to the operator as soon as he asks you to,
  2. Put yourself in the starting position and at the command given by the operator, start.
  3. You must avoid any skier who has fallen into the water and let go of the rope if there is a risk of collision. Never brush against a fallen skier.
  4. You must never abandon all or part of your equipment on the ski lift circuit.
  5. Only equipment specific to the practice of water skiing is authorized.

Article 3

During the tour, it is prohibited:

  1. To be dragged or to try to recover after a fall.
  2. To jump over or intentionally brush against a skier who has fallen into the water. To swim outside of the activity (except for returning to the banks or the pontoon)

Article 4

  1. Any deliberate breach of these rules may result in temporary or permanent exclusion.
  2. Comply with the provisions of these regulations and the instructions of the ski lift staff.
  3. Respect and use wisely the equipment provided (skis, kneeboards, wakeboards, wakeskates, wetsuits, vests, helmets).
  4. Invoicing for equipment at the replacement price in the event of loss, theft or significant damage will be requested.
  5. EURL ELA LES Ô KIRI cannot be held responsible for the deterioration or loss of personal belongings of practitioners, accompanying persons or visitors.
    Similarly, EURL ELA cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft that may occur in vehicles parked in the car park. The company cannot be held responsible for any damage to the clothing or personal belongings of the practitioner.

Article 5

  1. Animals are accepted on the site provided they are kept on a leash.
  2. Any pet owner present on site must ensure that any droppings left by their companion are picked up. In the event of failure to maintain cleanliness, the company reserves the right to prohibit access to pets.
  3. EURL ELA declines all responsibility in the event of problems with an animal.
    Qualification and recognition of staff: The ski lift manager holds a BPEJEPS diploma
    (Professional Certificate in Youth, Popular Education and Sport).

Article 6

  1. The management reserves the right to close the activity if the weather conditions are unfavorable, particularly storms, for the safety of the participants.
  2. Access is strictly prohibited outside the opening hours displayed at reception.
  3. Season passes and 10am and 8pm cards cannot be exchanged or refunded. They are individual and cannot be lent, any failure implies the immediate withdrawal of the pass without being able to claim any refund or discount.
  4. Likewise for season passes during busy periods, pass holders will be asked to postpone the activity.
  5. To apply for the season pass, you must have your helmet, your life jacket, and your skiing equipment. ELA declines all responsibility in the event of an accident or non-compliance with these regulations, so it is advisable to take out individual insurance. Sports licenses are available and recommended at the ski lift reception and from our operators for those who wish.

Article 7

The management reserves the right:

  1. To exclude any person who does not respect the instructions, or who behaves in a dangerous way for themselves or others, or who is disrespectful, from the staff, people, facilities or the environment.
  2. To take or enforce any decision that it deems justified.
